Photo shoot with Bosom Buddies for Chester County Life

We were really excited to be a part of the recent story that Chester County Life Magazine did about the unique and exquisite Bridal Lingerie Store, Bosom Buddies, in Paoli PA. We were asked to do some florals for their photo shoot. I was thinking, what do you do for lingerie? It was an opportunity for me to do something I've been thinking about for a while. The floral boa! How fun. It came out beautifully and was the perfect touch for their shoot. Thanks to Gina and all the girls at Bosom Buddies and to Ken Dooley for keeping me in the loop.

The new birch chuppah is finished and made it's debute last week for Alexis and Kevin's wedding at the Phoenixville Foundry. I am always so thrilled when the final design comes out looking as fabulous in reality as they do in my head. You know all those times when things looked so much better in your noggin or the middle of a dream. Well, not the case with my chuppah, which is gorgeous as is in it's organic birch nakedness, but can be embellished to the nines beautifully, however far you want to take it. I must give kudos to my husband who was a saint with the drill and level, as he helped me to put this together. I look forward to many more sacred ceremonies below it.

A Fall Day...

Susan and Micheal... a gorgeous couple and a warm wonderful family. A ceremony held at their Alma mater Villanova and the reception at home of Susan's family. When you have a home as gorgeous, warm and inviting as theirs, why look anywhere else? Of course, it was perfectly accommodating for their event as the guests were welcomed at the front of their estate, directly into a beautiful tent offering cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. When the time was right everyone was escorted via a lovely pathway adorned with foliage and wisteria to the back where the evening continued. Long tables sat on a diagonal enhancing the room and gave us the chance to do splendid designs that caught the eye one after the other down the table. I must mention that the table were lite with pin spots and that really does take the entire look to another level. Hanging votive candles all around the tent made for a romantic touch as well. I was particularly fond of the bouquet that we did for Susan. Her's was something I think many little girls dream of and I was happy to deliver with the parrot tulips that she knew she wanted from the start.

Yes, indeed a fine fall day and a fine wedding to compliment it.
